Burraco: la sfida

Mobile card game developed while working for Whatwapp Entertainment based on the classic homonym game. Through the years I have participated in the development (both client and service side), the design and product management (releases, liveops, ab tests, offers). The game is published for Android and iOS; the client part is developed with Unity, while the server part was migrated from Gamesparks to Nakama and it relies on AWS technologies like DynamoDB and S3.

Mobile turn game based on space combats affected by gravity, created and developed by me. Players use stations and spaceships to fire and destroy other ones. Every level is created procedurally and can contain different elements (planets, black holes). Spaceships use diffent types of weapons, everyone one affected by the grvity of space elements like planets. The two users play on the same device one turn at a moment.

Solar System

Solar System

Experimental exercise based on HTML5 and WebGL. It is a simple, but quite complete, representation of the solar system, with its planets, mostly common satellites and some asteroids. User can view astros' orbits, rotation axes, change speeds, change luminosity and some other graphics aspects. Graphic engine was written by scratch using just WebGL libraries. It works both on desktop and mobile.

idleforest

Idle Forest

Mobile idle game based on environment protection, created and developed by me. The player should grow and spread plants among the tiles of the level, while industries do the same. The board is composed by tiles of different color (every one has a bonus or malus) setted in an isometric view. The plants provide leaves and seeds currencies along with capturing CO2, whereas industries pollute areas and emit CO2. Aim of the game is to spread plants on every tile before having overwelmed by industries.

3D puzzle/adventure thriller game in which the player has to travel through its subconscious, fight his fears and go to farther memories in order to modify events which occur at the current time. The game was developed with Unity during the Videogame Design and Programming course at Politecnico di Milano, it was shown as a demo at the university and at some videogame exhibits.

Aliens vs Robots

Digital card game devised, designed, tested and developed with my colleague Luigi Siano for our thesis at master degree. We firstly created the game card (rules and cards), made the game for Windows Desktop in Visual Studio (C#) and then created and essential demo for mobile devices in Unity. The IA was created with a simple fuzzy system (which is here downloadable) that I was also reused in a biggest process for a Texas Hold'em poker game.

My Music Quiz

Android game that reads information from the music on user's device and generates random questions about titles, artists, albums, years, duration and genres. It includes many game modes to be challenged in accuracy, speed or endurance. User can select which folders and which songs have to be included in the research. The game is integrated with Google Play Games for achievements and leaderboards.

Android app I've developed for Life Better Company srl. Main features: search and manage pizza restaurants on the Italian territory. I've ported the app from iOS to Android, beckend was written in PHP.
